eConsult is an online tool you can use as an alternative to a GP appointment or telephone consultation.
You can choose what is wrong either from an A-Z list of common illnesses or by selecting which body part is affected. You will then be taken through to answer questions about your symptoms, once you've finished the details are emailed to the practice and you will be contacted by the end of the next working day. Click here to see it for yourself.
Sharing Medical Records to support Your Care
We want you to receive the best and most appropriate care. Sharing your medical records with other community healthcare professionals who care for you will help us to do that. Please click HERE to read our patient information leaflet for more information.
It is your decision whether your information can be shared with other services, and you can change your mind at any time simply by informing the practice. If you DO NOT wish for your medical records to be shared in this way, please click HERE to complete our 'opt-out' form.
Named Accountable GP
All of our patients are registered with a Named Accountable GP - if you're not sure who yours is, just ask next time you contact Reception. You are still welcome to see any GP of your choice and can request to change your named GP at any time.
Help Improve on Services in Dorset
We are working with our colleagues in Dorset CCG to consider how their services may need to change over the coming years.
As many of you may use these services, at Poole or Bournemouth hospitals, they are keen to also get your feedback.

Change in Partnership
Dr Jane McLeod will be resigning from the practice on 31st March 2016 having completed more than 27 years as a partner in the practice. She is looking forward to spending more time with her family but will miss her patients and extended team of colleagues.
We are pleased to be welcoming Dr Jon Bamford as a new partner on 1st April 2016. Dr Bamford has been with the practice for some time and will already be known to many of our patients. Dr McLeod's patients will be re distributed amongst the partners including Dr Bamford though, as is the case now, generally patients have the choice of which GP they see in the practice.
